Job description
The Senior Human Resources Advisor defines the human resources management strategy for the company, then implements this strategy to achieve objectives. The role also involves advising management. Responsibilities include: recruitment, retention, compensation, skills development, coaching, performance evaluation, health and safety, organizational development, and human resources support for organizational projects.
Main responsibilities
- Align HR strategy with corporate business objectives
- Act as ambassador of corporate values and culture
- Recruitment, headhunting, strategic management to hire the best talent
- Organize and coordinate the recruitment and integration of new team members to ensure a smooth transition from the moment they join the company
- Implement and deploy innovative talent attraction strategies
- Manage the LMS (Learning Management System)
- Manage all aspects of total compensation (salary review, group insurance and pension plans)
- Accompany, support and guide managers in the management of their employees, particularly with regard to performance management, performance evaluation and career development.
- Develop various change management initiatives to encourage participation and communication
- Participate in various activities related to corporate culture
- Contribute to internal communications and the annual organizational survey
- Advise managers on various aspects of labor laws
- Participate in updating performance measurement indicators (KPIs)
Desired skills
- Bachelor's degree in human resources management, industrial relations or other equivalent training
- A minimum of 8-10 years' experience, particularly in a position of responsibility
- Experience in change management and manager coaching
- Collaboration with management and experience in a growing organization
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Autonomy, initiative and leadership skills
- Member of the Ordre des CRHA (an asset)
- Fluency in spoken and written French and English
